New Beginning

Hello, everyone.
I'm Harry XI on Alexander server of FFXI. I've been keeping a journal of my chocobo raising and chocobo feed gardening for more than two months, so in order to share what I have discovered and learned, I'm posting a step by step journal of my accounts with chocobos. I assume that everyone who can find this blog can find wiki.ffxiclopedia.org and see the requirements of raising a chocobo. This blog is largely a journal for myself and those with whom I breed.

Day 0
I traded an egg today to Hantileon bred from Ghola's DesertRhapsody and Ghalleon's ClaireLune; both birds are very impressive racing birds with colored plumage. I hope for the same for my bird.
Claire had Gallop and Canter, so I chose the honeymoon package that would offer my chook some of those abilities.

Day 1-3
The Egg was under the Basic Care plan. I watched over it multiple times each day.

Day 4
My egg hatched!
She is an easygoing female with poor stats and Canter.
1. I took her on a short walk; we found a lost chick.
2. Short walk: Met Hantileon and his chick, Sea.
He found a clue about the lost chick's owner: owner's name starts with an L
3. Short walk
4. I then watched over my chicobo twice.
I checked her stats again:
Poor, Poor, Poor, Poor
She likes me pretty well, and she is full.
